By stuck in a patch of grass, I assume you just keep getting into battle after battle trying to move? If so, is it safe to assume you're using a gamepad? Moving a couple spaces with keyboard generally fixes it.
I assume you're using a gamepad? This is a known glitch. Easiest workaround is to use the keyboard to move a few squares, that usually does it.
