I had a weird error that would slow down the player whenever colliding with an area

yeah. I kept getting this weird error when colliding with an area the player would slow down I wasn’t sure how to fix it

Thank you for playing! There were some bugs that unfortunately crash the game, however it would only show up sometimes during testing. Making the abilities really smooth was a challenge especially cuz I only had a week.

This was my first game jam and I joined a week late. Though the first thing that came to mind was having clones of yourself to help steal valuable items. I wanted to allow the player to divide themselves to unlock special abilities. obviously I enjoyed coding the most because thats what im best at. The biggest challenge was doubting myself and worrying that the game mechanics would be hard to understand.

This is an amazing concept and fun game

Thank you so much for telling me! I asked some of my friends and they said that the blurry font was making it hard to read the instructions. I think I fixed it now, so it tells you (e) to divide. Im very sorry for that mistake.

This game is so hard (but maybe that's a skill issue), but it kept making me play over and over again. Very cool!

I love how difficult it feels (I suck at playing games) and the movement is really clean in my opinion, and I love that the little guys an get smacked away too
