Hey, think about it this way, this is just about as playable a version of Doom than what would actually run on a DOS machine in 1985. So you did damn good! I especially loved the E1M1 recreation, that was super cool to find. Thanks for the tip on where to look for the sprites! I was thinking about hacking together a little mod for myself, who knows, maybe I could make it a tad closer to "real" Doom x3

Hey! I wanted to say I absolutely loved this game! Its incredibly impressive for the hardware, and shockingly advanced in the gameplay department, I think most would have barely expected Wolfenstein, let alone something like this which has more in common with Doom!

I was wondering however, is there a way to look at the raw enemy sprites and possibly edit them? Ive tried hunting for them myself but I can't seem to locate them in the ROM.

Sorry I never responded, I was simply going to mention that the controls alternating direction when you turned around was the confusing bit. Nothing else was really bad.

Love the concept, hate the controls.

Beat it on first try

This doesn't work anymore

This is absolutely stunning for a 4K Atari 2600 game. Would totally put it up there with my fave Atari 2600 games.
