Ended up with some hilarious headlines. Really creative use of the theme.

Very impressive! I really enjoy the semi-randomness of the mechanics. It's like deck-building where you get the satisfaction of building a good combo AND the satisfaction of the luck of pulling it. Loved the audio, especially of the revolver spinning, very nice and juicy

Played it to completion! Definitely one of my favorite games I've played in the jam. It felt great to master the game loop and beat it. Great art and hilarious storytelling as well. Really well done.

Beautiful art and enjoyable to play, really well done

This cements penguin throwing as a genre of its own. I declare it. Nice game, I also felt a tingle of nostalgia for the old flash game this reminds me of :)

Genuinely really really fun mechanics! If you make the visuals a bit more clear (i.e. projectiles easier to see) this would be a near perfect execution of your mechanic. I also like your take on the theme, well done :)

I love the visual and audio design of the game. The gameplay is pretty fun as well, but I agree with other commenters that I want more progression after maxing the planet. Obviously this is just a game jam game, so the fact that so many people are maxing out the progression as it is currently is a testament to how good this is.

I love that journalism is stuff like playing guitar hero to make Michael Jackson hee-hee loll

QWOP aint got nothing on this, really nice!

Take this idea and keep  going with it, really engaging mechanics that have a lot of potential. Excellent excellent work

Really like the visuals and the driving physics. Would like to be able to just mow down the small bots without needing to spin attack, could be very fun.

Played for like 20 minutes, super satisfying and nice to look at too. Awesome game!

Genuinely super pleasant game to play. Thanks for this masterpiece.

Lots of fun! I enjoyed spinning for the bonus damage, epic. super epic

It's a geography quiz and spin to win game all in one, actually serious as heck. I would like an easy mode where the countries are highlighted because I have no clue where Mozambique or Somaliland are.  This would actually make a really neat learning tool as well

(1 edit)

Suuuper slick and polished feel, well done! The mechanics are simple and engaging, adding to that slickness. One suggestion would be to tune the difficulty to make it a bit harder. It felt like my rerolls and holds selection didn't impact all that much.

Super funny execution of the corporate lingo lol.  Bandwidth being a shield is *muah* perfect
Very nice!

5/5 on seriousness because I would have never expected to be baking a cake using walmart's finest ingredients. very important job

the ball and chain kinda lookin like a dingaling, very serious!  I really like the survivors-like with a spinning ball concept, well done on the theming

Now this is peak seriousness. The intro genuinely made me laugh, really fun :)    I got to 1500 RPM but then ran out of work to do so I just kind of sat around and playing on my phone until quitting time.

This game feels like a nightmare you might have after a night of losing too much on roulette (in a very serious way >:( ). Really nice job on the physics for the wheel and ball. I would have liked to have seen some additional mechanic to work at, maybe earning enough to buy myself out of the roulette or something like that.
GL!

Thanks squibble. I was editing the page theme with my dark mode everywhere extension on, smh my head

Really fun jam game! It really makes me want to try to speed run and try to get a fast time.

Demo is cute, I would love to have seen some of the mechanics from the trailer in it so I can get a better idea of what the full game will be like. Trailer is excellent and really makes me interested in the full game.

Really good! I like the dynamic of using the blast or using the drain. I wish there was some sort of dash mechanic to enhance the mobility a bit but overall very nice!

Excellent excellent excellent. Feels very polished, the platforming is excellent and the puzzles are engaging. When you introduce the reeling mechanic my mind exploded with the possibilities and you delivered. Great job, can't praise it enough

The scythe mechanic is genuinely amazingly done. Feels great even despite not being able to move while aiming/the scythe is in the air(that would be a great improvement). All of the mechanics you managed to implement to go with the scythe are really impressive and the game feels very full which can't be said for a lot of jam games.

Really fun take on the theme. Managing resources like the fuel makes an already challenging game even more interesting. Awesome work. And the visuals are great!

The art and animation are stunning.  I being a dumb modern gamer struggled to figure out what was needed to progress the game. Regardless, I enjoyed just exploring the little solar system and seeing the beautiful art.

Thwackin balls and eatin dogs hell yeah

I love the doodle art style (I went for the same approach so I guess I'm biased) it is very pleasing to look at. The time stop mechanic is interesting. Good job!

Slug Indiana Jones/handyman swinging around like spiderman. I like a platformer like this where I can't jump and have to use other methods to move around, well done

the man at the end showed me his buttcheeks and then I peed on him and the princess. 10/10

Great job on the sound design and particle effects. very satisfying to play

I like the power mechanic a lot! The gravity switching kinda broke the game in that I didn't need to use the power mechanic at all to progress since I could fly around with the gravity changes. Still fun though!

I think the blue love man's squeal is my favorite. Fun game!

I agree that slow introduction to the rules would have been nice, but tis a game jam and that's how these things go. Had me thinking pretty hard which is a sign of a good puzzler!

Oooooh this game has got hooks. I love the loop of avoiding masses of enemies and then obliterating dozens in one move, very satisfying

I'll reiterate what others are saying: The art and animations are really good, well done

Incredible, no notes at all. I can see this placing. Obviously would benefit from polish but the core of the game is damn near perfect.

I work in a nuclear reactor and this is what I do all day. Strict no banana policy and this game shows why. good job very realistic!
