Haha thanks for playing I'm really surprised anyone would give it a try.

I'm currently working on a different game so this one is taking a back seat.

Sorry about your car!

Thank you for the critique!

I'm working on a post-jam version to flesh it out into a full on Arcade game.

A true throw back to the days long gone but we'll see how far I get lol

Ha thank you!

Just some simple polygons will get the job done.

I'm working on a post-jam build with better assets though.

That was a really cool game and the music was amazing.

Haha thank you for the kind words!

Fun game.

Your interpretation of the jams limitation is hilarious and I can confirm that everything is indeed going wrong.

I thought the backside of the PC was wearing a thong 😂

Pretty cool and I like the use of the limitation.

I like the art and the animation.

I just submitted mine as well.

It's not nearly as polished as some others but I tried my best and had a lot of fun.

Going pretty good I'd say.

Getting into the polishing of it all now.

Whether you're the only one or not who cares as long as you're having a good time!

Personally, I'm using Godot.

Unfortunately, it's not running in my browser but it looks like a fun concept. If you happen to fix it, please reply as I'd like to give it a "shot"!

It's a very cute game. A witch and her feline familiar. The concept is pretty fun and of course, the visuals and sounds compliment this submission so well. Great job Kami and Deinol!

I enjoyed my short play through.

I really like that you included a book to keep track of the fish you've caught.

Looking forward to seeing the real game this mechanic is for one day!

Thank you!

It was a roller coaster of emotions for sure. My buddy and I decided to join this Game Jelly as we want to make games but have pretty much zero experience. Like we can't even write a script to move the PC Model without some ChatGPT help (but we're learning!).

We start working and got so overwhelmed with asset packs and "where to start" that we took a step back and said screw it, let's just make our fishing game without the stress of submitting it in 48 hours.

Welp, long story short, we decided to submit it anyways. I did all the programming and the sweet graphics and he's the one on bass you can hear as the background music.

We have a ton of learning but in the end, it was all pretty fun and I think we will continue and one day Fishin Daddy will be GOTY material.

Haha, thanks for the comment and to set the record straight, catching multiple fish is a feature, not a bug!

Hey Superdark, I'm really loving the changes you've made to the original sprites.

Noob question but are these sprites larger than the original set (Dungeon II)?
