Had that problem too. For some reason the button to unfollow the MC is hidden. I used MTool to make it visible (there is a variable for that)

I accidentally clicked "new game" in the main menu and now all my save are locked. They are still visible in "load game" section but clicking "load" or "continue" (in the main menu) does nothing
