Honestly, easier thing to do is just use the same material for everything and simplify your tires. Your tires can just be a cylinder using a dark grey with a little bit of indenting work. Then join all the meshes together, UVing all of the things to one mat/texture. I think you should be able to bring down the tri count/render call on all of them by ~90% while still keeping most of the fidelilty

Worth it for the discounted price, but respectfully, there are some serious optimization issues here. One tire for example is 3500 tris. That is crazy! 84 submeshes on a single truck model.. I'm not sure if you've ever worked under the hood for games, but each one of these is a render call, these need a lot of effort to re-work in order to be game ready. Worth it for the 90% off discount though.
Thanks Tommy! Great idea about feedback for deaths. We spent so much time on the graphics, animation, and the elemental side of things that we really had to rush out things like the death sequence unfortunately, but we plan on extending the game post-gamejam to have more features like that :)
It's also meant to be a little but punishing (as it's a quick game) and for the player to learn a little every time they die.
