thank you so much, I'm glad you think so!!

such a cute little story!! I think that Bitsy is truly the perfect engine to tell stories like this one.

a dream to text... next thing, we'll inject text in our brains and it gets converted in a dream

so beautiful in all senses <3 though I especially liked the colours... and oh my gods, I loved interacting with the scrolling things too!! 😭

thank you lots for playing!! <3

wonderful... "feeling" and "not feeling" were definitely the effects I wanted to transmit!

that's insanely relatable!! I must say, the consumption of random existential media has always been influencing my subconscious and partly manifesting itself in one way or another...

I know I would do this if I couldn't feel pain

THIS IS SO COOL!! I loved it, and I certainly didn't expect to find a SMT reference in one of the many rooms, haha! I hope more people will make games in the SOUP format.

You could use one of the Videotome Engines (if you haven't already)! I personally recommend Videotome or Super Videotome, they're probably the easiest in the engine family to use, and are very low code. I have absolutely no code knowledge, so I think you'll find them pretty intuitive too! The only thing required may be a live server for testing, but if you don't want to set that up you can always just upload the zip file to itch.io and see how it runs there in a draft project... Also, there are modded versions of these engines that you can use, like Super Videotome modded, which mainly adds support for videos (in the .webm format).

they got that kitten engine in them making them meow real fast when talking

damn, I gotta play this on my Nothing Advance SP rn...!

help this is honestly amazing- Didn't expect the lore section to sound so cool!! I would actually play something like this...

glad you think so ^^

A poem in a flowchart... It looks so cool!!

Now that sounds like a pleasant experience.. Glad to hear such effects that this zine conceived! Maybe it is alive, after all..

aaa I've only seen this now!! tysm! 🫶

Ahh these are so cool!! The kind of aesthetics I love 🤘

this was very nice <3 the music fit perfectly!

Adventure Time has always been such an inspiration, whether it comes to art or not! Marceline is my favourite character too, and I think she was a big, yet "subconscious" inspiration for me. This zine is soo lovely <3

damn...

Nice to see that you've used the binksi vn template as well!! This was such an interesting and evocative little game <3 Also, the relaxing music was truly the cherry on top..

Truly nightmarish writing! The cycle of constant rotting is real and tangible... I hope he gets a good, well-deserved sleep.

very prettyyy!!

your doodles are soo cool, and I love how you've expressed these poems!! also, my favourite eye is definitely this one :)

so lovely!! these collages look like they could easily belong on a band's album cover art..

These articles were so fun to read!! Thanks for making this :D

OMG this is amazing!! The visuals are PERFECT and I absolutely adored the sites you've linked to <3 Really a 10/10 experience.

this is so lovely<3

"friend"...? 😨 I LOVE THIS SO MUCH

This is inspiring... Makes you realize just how utterly similar the world and these social medias' influence actually are to the "lovecraftian". Thanks for linking to the fediverse alternatives especially!!

Now this is what I needed; concentration, in a game where you need to focus!

One day things will get better... not the way we maybe actually want, but things surely will change one day.

imagining this was so fun honestly.. gotta try some good old Tickle Tea

I understand if horror's not for you! I also agree that binksi is the perfect combination to make bitsy games, especially text-based ones... it works so well with your game!

Takes me back when I was a kid, scared of elevators... and loops.

Now THAT was surprising, ngl! Also, that bouncy sprite is eye candy.

This hits so hard in so many ways... But I have to say that this inspired me to let go of my "doubts" and just reconnect with an old friend of mine. Maybe not now, not today, but I won't let it drag on for another month. Thank you for making this <3

Wow, the story took such an unexpected turn! It's so dreadful to see just how quickly your average life changes in the blink of a second because of unfortunate events...

Thank you for playing :D  I'm especially happy that you found said line impactful!
