Resolved the issue by uploading directly to Itch.io, we will continue to do this up until our game reaches the 1gb size limit. There is a way to increase the upload size limit, but we'd need to contact support for that. Thank you for your patience and understanding on this.
At the moment there is no plan for this, though if we are able to work on this full time, we do have plans for other gender options for the main character.
Long story short, a lot of real life stuff happened for about a year, so development was delayed due to that. After Chapter 3 releases, we plan on changing how we develop so we can push out updates faster.
We will update here as well once we have something a build ready to share. The only update at the moment is art related, so all that stuff is on Patreon/Discord at the moment.
We love her design, but since we are at the beginning of east blue saga... it will be a while before we incorporate characters like Boa Sandersonia, though... I would love for her to be in the game.
We are legit getting somewhat close to an update, we have a good amount of art done for Chapter 3 and just have a few more to do, before we can start working on it.

We do have a battle system, it's on our latest build but we are still exploring what we can do it. We also want to have branching story beats per chapter, to where you can solve a solution in various different ways.
