For some reason the android version gives me the issue of "you can't install the app on your device". But the windows version is very good

Outstandingly charming, and quite brilliant for its small size!

Super fun, oddly addicting, and induces just the right amount of rage for me.

Wizard Cats community · Created a new topic AI Disclaimer

Since they don't state it here on Itch (unless I missed it), here's the AI disclaimer from their Steam page:

In Wizard Cats, AI is used to write the code that powers spells created from runes. No art is generated using AI - all art is hand-drawn by our talented team of artists.

Do with that information as you will, folks.

Absolutely adore the style of this one to death. Possibly the only example I've seen of a game taking inspiration from German expressionist cinema. Every zig-zag, angle, stripe, and line just looks perfect. The parallels with The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari were perfectly executed, it all left me wanting more, and I can say this is exactly the type of stuff I love to see in indie gaming.

Unfortunately, despite going through every area and trying just about everything, I'm still struggling to find two of the forms. Naturally, I would dig around through let's plays on Youtube, or walkthroughs on the internet, but I've still found nothing. A hint would be great - the more cryptic, the better!

Edit - figured it out! Turned out to be in the last place I expected, heh.

Very glad this got re-uploaded. Took a stroll through it, and I'm deeply in love with the aesthetics here. The lonely, pale atmosphere and witchy vibes really remind me of Year Walk, and I'm all here for it. Even for as short as it is, I find what is there to be pretty impactful, in character and presentation.

Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Having quite a lot of fun with this one! However, I think I'm stuck at the part where I've got to sell something. If anyone has any hints for me, that'd be great!

Edit: Figured it out. I was having trouble finding a certain screen somewhere near a big helmet. The ending of this game was, indeed, delicious.

Played it start to finish, and now I want more! Very good! The characters are super cute, and the music is absolutely beautiful.

I would probably kill for a full-length game with more levels, characters, and mechanics.

Still haven't managed to beat the demo. I'm in love with it and am eagerly awaiting more! Also, might I say I'm deeply in love with the music!

I'm absolutely in love with this art style! Do you have anywhere that you post art? I'd love to give you a follow!

For anyone wondering how to use multiple shaders, just add ReShade (make sure to select DX11). Works like a charm!

Fun, solid endless platformer. I'd love to see this idea expanded upon. All it needs is more content, because what's already there is solid as stone.

Shockingly good - I wasn't expecting much out of this game, so I was pretty surprised to see how well executed it is. Keep up the good work!

The new menu in the experimental version is really nice. While it's not as stylized, it's so much easier to use, and it still looks great!

Can we get an option to resize the window? That would be great.

Hello! This software is incredible, but for some reason if I don't set my computer DPI for both monitors to 100% (which is too small for me to read anything), I'm only able to capture a portion of the screen with the rest showing as black, even if I change the DPI settings in ShaderGlass. I would send a screenshot if it weren't for the strange issue of the program not showing up in screenshots.

I try to stick to using the Itch.io client, but I'll try it in the browser later

I get the following error when trying to run this.

Unable to parse Build/Threshold Game Jam.framework.js.gz! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP Response Header "Content-Encoding: gzip" present. Check browser Console and Devtools Network tab to debug.

Yeah, the foggy breath

Is there any way to disable the fog? I can't see anything through i

Do you guys have a name and/or any art for the big spooky boi(?) in the mall? I'd love to see more of them!

Is there any possibility of releasing this and River Queen as plain pico8 cartridges? It'd be nice for people who use things like Batocera and Retropie

I preferred the darkness for atmosphere, but the lamp was indeed painful.
