I really enjoyed playing Weeds in the Waster. The mechanics allow you to play a quick (under an hour) or longer game, depending on the time you want to invest. The growth and wither stages are delightfully simple, while the reflections help to flesh out the world. I played a love story in the face of disaster and salt fields.

I played the long road home in about an hour, but could definitely have spent more time on it! The prompts had enough direction to get even the newest player writing and creating, while the Solace/Disquiet dynamic offered some direction. As with all the games I play, I put my own spin on it by combining the last two prompts, as they were very connected in my story.

Will be playing again!
