I hope that, even if I may not buy the game yet, I might atleast help by word of mouth. 

This game is great, even if I've only been able to play the demos! Maybe one day I'll get to that Patreon thing for your sake, mheheh.

Any advice for finding similar games like this one, itch.io or otherwise? I love this format but I don't know where to go...

Gosh DARN this is hot. You and company did well with this one. Although, I can't quite figure out how to finish the questline regarding a specific bat at night? I've finished the game before getting to see more.

How does one unlock the third "???" option with Isaac?

Check out the spot where you can evaluate your home in the bedroom - you can check on your pets with it, and also click on question marks that hint undiscovered heroes-to-tame.

I felt some happiness spark in me around the ending of this. This made me feel hope for a future as bright as this game's.

I love progressing through this game!
Unfortunately I've hit a complete stop - normally I have good reflexes and timing, but for some reason CHAPERONE -ERROR's tiles change also lag my device to the point where moving is completely guesswork.. the lack of a checkpoint or atleast a quick load button is also making it feel tedious.

At the time I wrote this comment, I was using an old laptop from late 2010's that ran well for most of the game until this level.
