i dont get the boss fight at the cathedral entrance

i ont have a problem with the questline i have a problem with how unforgiving this game is like you cant level up your tribe and need to constantly need to move and everything cost so much resources and food that when you get a little behind on something you are just fucked sorry for the language englisch isnt my first langauge 

i dont understand the combat like you cant win i get defeated by round 2 every time

food upkeep is also impossible like i have a rich place and go for hunt and than have the messege starvation and under that great hunt doesnt make sense

me to but i cant go anywhere that is past a certain point. 

in the second stage if you get caught by an orc. an error occurred and if you go down in the second stage and kill the orc down there get the key and go trough the door the game reteurns to the titel screen where are the stages 3 4 5 and 6
