short, but pretty fun little game. I liked it

It's a fun, beautiful game, but it hits a terrible snag the moment you reach the Digital Dungeons.
Each dungeon is an exercise in tedium, with 50-50 odds of traps, traps as you walk in, unskippable enemies, respawning enemies, traps that drain your only healing items, traps that can send you a level beneath, traps, traps, traps. I started to skip all treasure chests because overall the rewards weren't worth the risk. Plus they're basically impossible to complete unless you have a level 100 digimon. Also I will say that there's some tedium in collecting resources. For example, Digihardwood is pretty important for upgrades, but basically you only get some if you wait out a "gacha" shop with a long recharge time, that most of the time will give you the worst item type.
"Why don't you upgrade the shop, then, to increase your chances?"
Because I need the dang wood to upgrade it.
I have enough money I could buy all the shop upgrades back to back 2 times over, but no way to actually buy the materials needed for those upgrades.
once you reach your 4th dark penalty, the game is slowing down to a slog, trying to reach to buy the DM8 upgrade, making 2 billions every 30 seconds or so.
I bought everything that was possible up to this point, and left every automation on: did I miss something among the auto-upgrades that is hindering my progress being active, or some way to remove/debuff the penalties?
