Thanks to everyone that tried my game and gave feedback. I ran out of time before submission time but i definitely plan to polish the game and add more content later so i welcome feedback/things you’d like to see. Some things people have noted:
-Orange text doesn’t pop out enough from the background (i should check my monitor settings)
-Score keeps going up after you die (whoops! that’s on me)
-The game definitely needs more sounds besides the bee’s explosion (i’ll work on it)
-There’s no dash cool down so you can spam it (i kinda wanted to see what would happen but I’ll probably add a cool down in the future)
Oh i agree! i scared my cat with the explosions the first time i played the game after submitting it. I had a lot of things planned but didn’t get to implement them before i ran out of time. This is my first game ever with Godot so i had to learn a lot of things. I got caught up learning how to make the movement feel good i forgot i had to make the rest of the game.
I would’ve loved to add music to the game, swish sounds for the flying,etc. If you wanna talk about collaborating my discord @ is [REDACTED]
Yep! i missed that bug before the deadline. After GMTK2026 is done I'll definitely polish things up and change things around. Glad you liked the effects.
