Totally get you about the navigation and icons, it’s something I want to improve to make the experience clearer and smoother.
Appreciate you taking the time to try everything, even if it got a bit confusing. I’ll keep polishing it after the jam!

Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback!
Sorry about the bugs though. I’ll be fixing things and polishing it up after the jam so it can be played properly

Hey! Thanks a lot for playing!
Sorry about those bugs, it’s a jam build so things got a bit wild.

Thanks for playing! Yeah, a few bugs haha. Not sure if hotfixes are allowed during voting, so out of respect for the other devs I’ll keep it ready for later.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

The disorienting feel was part of the idea, but I admit I didn’t manage to express it as well as I wanted in the game. And you’re totally right about the loading bars, they can be frustrating. I’ll adjust the timing in the next update.

Glad you liked the concepts, and thanks a lot for taking the time to leave a comment :)

The art and gameplay are great, it's very addictive. I had to stop to write this comment. I'll be back to see if I can beat 127.

I love the pixel art style of this game, it’s amazing. It had me glued to the screen just staring at it, without doing anything else haha.

I really liked it, and I’m not usually into turn-based games. I love the art. I’d add some simple animations for attacks or when selecting an enemy, just to give the player clearer visual feedback.

But honestly, it’s an awesome job, and maybe the start of my journey into turn-based games haha

The style, atmosphere, and gameplay fit perfectly together. I´d just adjust the platform jumping a tiny bit to make it smoother when jumping from the edges. But i loved playing it, awesome work!

Haha, yeah...about the sound, that one´s totally on me. I didn´t properly test the final build before uploading it, so the sound ended up way louder than they shoul´ve been.

In the next update I´ll take your advice and add volume sliders to balance all sounds in the game. I´d love to have you play the improved version when it´s ready.

Thanks for the feedback and sorry for your ears haha

Honestly, if i had worked on the game as much as i did on the page, it would probably be way better by now! haha

The first hot fix is coming soon. Until then, thanks for the support, it really means a lot.

Thank you so much for playing and taking time to share this.

You are absolutely right about those issues, they weren´t intentional and i am already looking into fixing them for the next update. I am thinking of changing the gameplay a little, limiting the player's movement. I will discuss this in the following updates.

I’m really happy you liked the look of the game, and I’ll make sure the next version runs smoother so you can properly experience it.

Thanks again for the feedback, it helps a lot!

There will surely be bugs during gameplay, so if you encounter any issues or bugs, please do not hesitate to let me know. I hope you enjoyed the Jam!!

That's because I have the jump functionality programmed, but I don't have it in use in the uploaded prototype. I have to polish it for the final version. Thanks a lot for playing it, and for hosting the jam.

I liked it very much. Very simple concept but very very well implemented.

I never thought that cats would send chills down my spine

It reminds me of the puzzles my grandfather used to give me. A simple but addictive gameplay, I want more levels hahahaha.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll probably change it in future versions to make it more cinematic so you don't have to worry about it.

I would like to tell you that the diagonal movement is intentional when the mother is scared, but it's not hahaha. I really liked your point of view about it, and I will take it very much into account in updating the mother cat's movement as soon as I can upload a new version of the game.

Thank you very much for the feedback, it is appreciated in order to improve the final version of the game.

As for the gameplay, I need to better clarify the player's objective when “saving” the kittens. I don't make it as clear as I thought.

The cinematic serves as an introduction to the story and the player's objective, but it's true that the final part is too slow. I also don't let the player escape from the cinematic by pressing any button.

As for the mechanics, the jumping is a bug that used to be a feature hahaha. I will think about adding the jump functionality in the future and I will improve the experience with the cat's movement.

Very entertaining. The only thing, being able to perform the sword attack on the 360 degrees of the character would make the gameplay much faster and entertaining. Visually I love the ninja cat hahaha.

The cat gameplay is very slow and dying after a mouse attack is frustrating. Visually I love it, and the concept is very well implemented along with the theme.

How did you get it? hahaha

Simple concept but I loved the result. Very entertaining and very engaging. I'm going to keep practicing until I beat my record hahaha

Damn mice, they are very fast hahahahahaha

Pretty cool concept you've given it. Fast but addictive gameplay, I'll wait to see more about new updates you make.

I like the concept you've given the game with the theme. I didn't realize it, but I've been 15 minutes straight without stopping to play.

I liked it very much. Despite the minimalist style, I love the cat animations. And the gameplay is what hooked me the most.

I love the visual art, very cozy. I think we'll all tell you the same thing about the play time, but I'd love to see more.

It's supposed to be all happening in your head, but yes, I have to rewrite the story. Regarding guiding the player, I realised when I finished the first level that it was very big and easy for the player to get lost.

Now I'm 100% finishing the demo of the next game, but as soon as I have some time I plan to release a new version fixing some bugs as well.

I have not been able to stop playing it. It is a very fun game. I stop playing it to send you this comment, but I'm going to continue with it for a while hahaha.

Buff, I don't know where to start. The visual art is incredible, the atmosphere of the game traps you, the gameplay is very simple but enough to make you can't stop playing. If I could give it a grade I would give it a 20/10, keep up the great work because what you have done is incredible.

Thank you very much for playing it! If you have any feedback with which I can improve in terms of gameplay, mechanics, anything, it's always welcome and I'll be happy to read them.

I really liked it, especially how you were able to fit the pixel art style with the space shooter gameplay. Keep up the good work!!! 🥳🕹️
