Today we are taking a look at Shalnor Legends a Zelda-like that invokes memories of Ittle Dew and while there is not a lot of content there at the moment, the base that has been developed has potential and could become something really good.
A very well made game bringing together the mechanics of This War of Mine, Kingdoms New Lands and an rts interface to create a very interesting colony management/survival game. Very interested to see where this one goes.
Tear up a varied and well designed, seemingly randomly generated, obstacle course with the cutest robot ever in this endless runner. There is something about this game that not only doesn't make you want to rage but make you come back for more. There is just the right amount of mechanics for the player here, just enough to keep it interesting but few enough to stop the player from feeling overwhelmed. The best endless runner game I have played.
If you can imagine what you would get if you combined TABs with Pain the Town Red this would be a reasonable approximation of the results. Take control of your very own knight while you hack and slash your way through an enemy army. Lots of weapons to choose from and there is nothing more satisfying than leaving a pile of bodies in your wake.
A game about snooping on a girls phone who is a complete stranger to you to find out what happened to her and where she has gone. A grim and creepy atmosphere is created with a simplistic but effective style. But I'm sure you knew that already.
A demo version of an interesting single player bomb disarming game that teaches all about circuits and electricity, I hope the developer makes the bombs considerably harder in the later game perhaps combining all the different nodes you learn along the way. Very well made, responsive and has nice graphics.
A fascinating game that takes gameplay mechanics from some of the best indie games ever, blends them together with some new and interesting concepts and gameplay mechanics and comes out with an experience that is both familiar but also wholly unique. A treat to play and an experience I am loathed to pull myself away from. Keep an eye out for this one.
