Hey I wanted to comment with some love. Summer Scent was literally my first ever AVN. It created the genre in the universe of me. I have now played many dozens of others, but this one was really pivotal. The story, the emotions, the quality of images. It was made with care and it is a class above most others due to that care. I consider it exceptional quality, particularly the character development and expression of emotions.  That is where you breath through into that top tier, where a titillating AVN becomes art.

I know you put a lot of pressure on yourself for progress in development and feel in that squeeze between quality and time. It's an impossible balance. So I want to pitch an idea that might be crazy, but maybe, hopefully would help.  I wonder if you have people in your community that have some of the skills to help. I think the story, the character development, the final touches should always be yours to own 100%. But perhaps others would volunteer to help bug catch; or create storyboard positions for you to fine tune; or translations, etc. It would probably take some experimentation - throw out some labor-heavy, low-expertise tasks out there and figure our which types of things were helpful, and what weren't.

I haven't worked in this world and I don't know if this is a foolish idea or not, but wanted to throw it out there in case it helps.  Keep up the good work man!

You gain influence through progressing the faculty quests.  So work on your quests and you will gain the influence you need.

I can't speak for others, but for me I find younger characters and incest situations a major turn off. I'm not offended so much as grossed out by those things. Both are really prevalent in a lot of AVNs and NSFW games in general, so I suppose my perspective is unpopular (watch the down votes pour in...), but for me at least that is my perspective.

None of this is any indictment of Goodbye Eternity however. I want to make that clear. I am just about to download it, but was skimming through the comments to get a sense of whether this would be a game I'd like. 

It was a good recommendation, I am loving Headmaster! I really am not into the age demographic, but the storyline, gameplay and detail are really fantastic and help.

I have a very similar taste as you. Once in Every Lifetime, Eternium, and Ripples are far above the rest I've played. On the basis of your comment I will try Headmaster too. Others with honorable mentioned I would include are Summer Scent and Corrupted Kingdoms.

Please make a story-mode.  Also some content for diabetics.

Regarding my loli and incest comments. Certainly anything suggesting underage or non-consensual is revolting to me. It's as arousing as a car crash. A lot of AVNs on itch seem to regard the EULA as a challenge, and clearly just tiptoe along that line to tell the same story regardless. For example "landlord" stories - I.e. main character is clearly having an incestual relationship with legal-aged sister/mom/niece/stepchild/aunt, but within the story they're called "landlord" and "tenant" despite that making no sense in the context. Likewise female characters that look like and act like children, but are introduced as 18 regardless. All of which is gross to me. There could have been a great accompanying story, but I just wouldn't be able to make it through it. For me this would be like watching the porno remake of Schindler's List.

I haven't tried any of Lockhart's games yet. I am super turned off by incest and loli scenarios. Based on that, which games would folks recommend and which to avoid?

yes I agree with OnionCuttingNinja a lot. The game I much more of an Eternium vibe, and of that quality. At a basic level, pretty much any of your gallery images within the game progression would be a better thumbnail - they're dynamic, interesting, sexy and not at all generic.

This is such a a fantastic game. However the thumbnail for it in Itch doesn't nearly do it justice. As much as I hate to pull you from development, I would really revisit this. I passed up this game many times because it has looked so bland. You deserve to be one of the top AVN downloads and I think this will help you get the recognition you deserve.

For those with the same issue:

I restarted phone, issue remained. I uninstalled via the play store and then redownloaded from itch.io. on that second attempt I installed the non 64bit version (originally installed 64bit). Problem resolved. I am not really sure the cause and what exactly fixed it.

There is an issue with the Android 64bit version. After installing and attempting to launch I reach a Google Play window saying: "To continue using, buy it on Google Play or subscribe to Google Play Pass". From there I either have to buy the game via the play store (for a lot less $...) or subscribe.

For the one you need, go full corruption path with Emily but choose each Ashley cutscenes. I.e. don't hide lewd; lean left. The boob flash scene in Emily's bedroom changes script to this version.

Super creeped out by how young some of the characters look, at least in the thumbnails. Skipping over this one because of that.  Lots of great reviews below so sounds like I'm missing out on a great story. Just wanted to share constructive criticism.  Good luck to you!
