Very nice puzzle game. I wish it had more levels, because the puzzle mechanics had the potential for deeper level design.
I enjoyed the 3 levels though. Good work

Fun game with great visuals. I wish the gameplay forced me to use the dash and relocate ability more.

I think you spent so much time on the art and controls that you ran out of time. I'm sure this will become a great game, because the art was great and controls very smooth and satisfying

I love physics-based driving games. Everybody already mentioned Hill-Climb Racing. I also want to add the NES game Excitebike to the list of the game that this game reminded me of. physics and level design is everything in this type of game and I think you did a solid job on a jam level. Well done!

This was a lot of fun, especially when I got the speed boost! I think a more limiting level design will work well here, in a way that it prevents the train from taking sharp turns and crashing into itself. Some very rudimentary Pacman-like maze for example.
But overall, great game. so much fun to play

I had a lot of fun with this game. Running away from the cheese was much more stressful than I imagined. The fact that I lost if the cheese fell off the platforms made it a bit too difficult. On the one hand it was good that it made me watch that the distance between me and the cheese doesn't get too big, but on the other hand it could get frustrating some times that I'm punished because of the cheese falling. Maybe some tweaks on the cheese AI and pathfinding would fix that,

I forgot to write in the last comment that I especially enjoyed the music! The train-sounding drum loop was great. The chord progression reminded me of Dead Cells music, in a good way of course! And that was so in line with everything else as well, because it conveyed a sense of rush.

Sound and art were great! The platforming was difficult for me, but that's on me tbh :D
I'm not good with platformers at all. Especially with the timer I realized early on that I can't finish this game :D
Enjoyed my time with it none the less. Great work!

It felt so good to stack up those speed boosts and not worry about steering. I'm sure with a couple more card choices this game will become way more fun than it is. Looking forward to seeing the updates.

This doesn't feel like a jam game at all. So much content, so much polish. Well done to the whole team.

Would you like a mace? A sword maybe?
No sir, the King would do just fine.

very funny take on the theme. That alone was enough to hook me to the game. The platforming was not the best I've seen. but with the limited time in a jam, still pretty good. Very nice game overall.

Five stars for originality! This game has such a unique concept. If I could change something about the game, probably I would go with how the mechanics are communicated to the player. I understand that the game chooses not to give you the training wheels, and I like that approach very much. But when avoiding tutorials, it becomes extra crucial to make use of common conventions to communicate some info.
Spoilers here for anyone who hasn't played the game:
For example the fact that you need to move to the left in the beginning was a brilliant joke on the player, but I can totally see someone not getting the joke and missing out on the game before it even actually begins.

This is a very nice cozy game. The story-telling through the newspapers is the main selling point for me. it really distinguished the game and set its tone. I think not going very deep with game mechanics and upgrades was a good design choice. If something were to be added to the game, I would have preferred it to be more game juice when passengers get on and off, to enhance the feel-good aspect of the game.
Great game overall!
