Thank you, that info is helpful. We have a ticket for this problem on our githib issue tracker https://github.com/ohrrpgce/ohrrpgce/issues/1276
Do you happen to see a file named g_debug.txt that appears when you run the game? The contents of that file (with both the keyboard and the gamepad plugged in) would be useful. (There is also a file named g_debug_archive.txt that persists after the game closes, but it won't have as much detail)
Hello! I'm one of the engine devs. Is it possible that you have another device that is reporting a joystick axis besides your gamepad? I have seen one case of a fancy keyboard that did that.
You can try running the executable with the -nojoy command line argument, and that will confirm if a joystick axis is the culprit.
We don't have an offline version, but maybe adding one would be useful. I would have to figure out how to safely scrape a snapshot of the wiki.
Vikings of Midgard isn't in all the downloads. I need to check and see which ones have it. The minimal packages don't have it, and I am not sure if any of the Linux packages currently do. It does have its own itch page also, at https://fenrir-lunaris.itch.io/vikings-of-midgard . I will make sure to link to that next time I update that help page. Thank you for mentioning it!
Sometimes people will tag their games here on itch with #ohrrpgce but if you want a big list of games, try http://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4
Many are unfinished, and many are just tech demos, or joke games, but there are a lot of full games mixed in there too.
Yep, the android version unfortunately only works on older android os versions. Our Android build is based on a non-standard legacy set of scripts so unfortunately we can't just drop in the latest SDK, a bunch of other stuff has to be fixed first. It is on my to-do list, but no promises as to when I will find time
This is a bug in the OHRRPGCE engine when a Mac package is exported from a Windows computer. Here is a workaround you can try. Open the Terminal app, and use the cd command to switch to the folder where the "franken" app is located. Then run this command: "chmod +x franken.app/Contents/MacOS/ohrrpgce-game" I hope that helps! (And I hope I can fix the bug in a future version of the OHRRPGCE!)
Well, suppose I want to color my texture with a 5-color evenly spaced ramp.
I have to click the + button 4 times, then manually move around the new sliders to what I *guess* is probably evenly spaced. That is before I have even started picking the colors.
It also took me a long time to figure out (A) that I needed to load a palette (B) that I couldn't load that palette from the colorizer itself
Also, if there is a way to clone a colorizer, I haven't discovered it yet. I'll be using very similar color ramps often.
