Honestly, thinking about adding ducks to my game after playing yours!

The concept is really cool! I can see this prototype becoming a quite an iteresting rogue-like with more content in form of some kind of ducks upgrading system and more types of enemies.

Overall, good prototype with even better potential!

Will be grateful for any kind of feedback on my game!

A really cool concept with "transferring" mechanic, i think, that it is a really solid prototype with a lot of potential!

The game feels really good, all the UI interactions are smooth, the theme and mechanics are really interesting for such gamejam. Found myself actually enjoying the game for quite a while!

Honestly, the scope of the project for such period of time given for development blew my mind. Overall, amazing game, absolutely loved it!

The first menu you see is actually a "help" menu, you just have to exit it and then go to the "Shop" menu.

The UI layering isn't that good at the moment , so sorry for that, working on more understandable layout.

First of all - thank you so much for such long and detailed review, i really appreciate it!!

In order to be able to select an animal you have to  have it's abilities selected(When you purchase one - they alredy have their final abilities set, but when you get an animal from crossbreeding - they only have a list of "potential" abilities, from which you have to select the ones you want to see for this animal in a battle). But i understand, that at the moment game's UI is quite unintuitive and it doesn't tell you about all the features.

The battle actions logging system is already on it's way, i am just not sure if i am allowed to add it during the rating period, as only the bugfixes are allowed for the next couple of days.


I am also currently working on more responsive UI features for all the aspects of a game ( especially - for the battle menu ) as well as planning to add some kind of tutorial stage of a game, where it will lead you through a full gameplay loop, showcasing all the features, so this scuffed help menu will be more of a secondary thing.

And yeah, thanks again for such a good review!

A good one, really like the art style

The visuals are cool, gives me the vibe of games like Cruelty Squad

Yeah, check out the help button on the bottom left of the main tab
(I think, i will make a fix for it to open upon launch of the game, because unintuitiveness is the opinion i've heard from some other people about this ui layout)

This jam was a blast! I absolutely loved the time spent creating something from scratch, and I’m looking forward to any kind of feedback on my prototype because I really want to understand which parts of it have at least some potential.
