Both of those things are stuff I'd like to add! First I'm going to work on boring but necessary stuff based on feedback I've gotten, like better controls and UI, but I want Ratty to have some story stuff as well as Bitey. Ratty is meant to be one of the tfd friends of the gloomy rat on floor 4

Yeah the stairs down I just removed cos I haven't finished any content past the rat king so if you try to go down it just glitches out.
I will see if I can add useful tooltips to the stats, and work on the inventory and equips since a lot of people have mentioned it is confusing or awkward
I'll clean up the interface too. Initially I had everything in green with ascii but as I started making sprites you're right that now it looks super out of place. It might be worth me spending some time drawing a nice pixel menu for things with icons
Thank you for the feedback! Yeah there's nothing further to do once you beat the rat king, I haven't finished any content deeper than that since it's still early days. I'll see what I can do about the controls and making them a bit more intiutive. Adding space as a command key is easy for sure.
As for the adult tag, I mostly just added that because most of my other games are furry smut and I still haven't quite decided if I want to go that direction with this one. I'm torn honestly. Right before I posted it, the stuff with Dirk was much more adult and I cut it all out at the last minute.
