Hey! Thanks for playing! The sounds were fine in the editor but I did notice they were off in the actual game for some reason.

Keep in mind that nearly all of the sounds in this game are placeholders. I'm looking for people who are good at sound design and music to make the final sounds because I do not have the time, space, knowledge, or equipment to make my own.

I'll try to figure out how to make in-game settings for the graphics, but every tutorial I've looked up doesn't change anything but the resolution. Trust me, it runs like garbage on my computer too.

If you have any tips for making the atmosphere scary from the beginning, I'm open to any and all advice! I want this game to be as scary as I can possibly make it! >:)

Again, thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it! :)

Thanks for the feedback! I noticed a few sound delays, so I'm gonna work on fixing those. I'm also not the greatest at animation or 3d modeling (by which I mean I have absolutely no clue how to do it and get it to work in unreal) so I'm looking for people to help with that haha

To be fair, there were a few things you missed, which means I need to make the direction clearer, and also, there’s a lot more on the way. Thanks for playing!

That's what I was aiming for :)

Cool! Did you like the game?

Hey! Thanks for playing! Yes, you did it. If you decide to play it again, look upwards in the trees at that last part. There's something that appears for a few seconds. Thanks again!

I'm currently working on a different project since I don't have the files for this one anymore.  I'm currently working on another game called Fear of the Unknown. I could leave a link here if you'd like.

Psst- It's on the other side of the red sign. It blends in since the sign is also red.

Sweet! By any chance could you help me out with a game I'm making? I wanna add a gun that you can pick up and need ammo for, but I have no idea how lol

Any time! By the way, what engine was this made with

That was incredible! I just finished it, and I'm blown away. This has a lot of potential to be a full length payed experience! It absolutely skyrocketed past my expectations! There's even a final boss! Holy crap! You don't see that very often in indie games. The red liquid was really hard to find, so I was frustrated for a bit, but other that that, fantastic! I got both endings, by the way. 11/10 Very impressed!

It's been a while since I've been on this page. This reminds me that I need to start working on this game again.

It's been a while since I've been on this page. This reminds me that I need to start working on this game again. There's an updated version of this on game jolt if you wanna go see that.

They're not robots. It's the default player model lo

Thanks For The Feedback!

Also, the game system is called the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System)

It's not supposed to be a robot lol. It's just the default character model. I textured it black and gave it red eyes. Thanks for playing, I'm currently working on it, so the next update should be out soon

Thanks for the feedback!

I had a feeling I should’ve added I. A sound for the light switch. It would’ve been a lot more obvious. I’m glad you liked the game. There should be an update very soon. Also, that’s not a robot, it’s the default character model for unreal engine. I haven’t made my own yet. Thanks for the feedback!

The map isn't a copy. It's a sample map from a horror environment prop addon that you can buy on the unreal engine marketplace. I noticed that it was the same when I watched jacksepticeye play it, but I wasn't sure if it was actually the same map. This confirms it lol. Thanks for the feedback!

Attention!

It appears that I have hit a meory block.

for some reason, Unreal Engine crashes every time I try to open the first level, so I'm going to have to remove it from the game.

But, worry not! For this is not permanent! I will remove the level file fro the project (otherwise, I wouldn't be able to package the project and get it out to you), however, I am keeping the file in a safe place on my laptop  until I hopefully get a new PC, as I'm currently using  laptop that's pretty crappy when it comes to the system requirements for playing video games.

Hopefully I'll get a PC with more memory, and that should fix the problem.

I'm just letting you know so you're not wondering why the level's gone in the next update.

P.S. I'm deciding that I'm only going to release updates when the actual textures are in, and they're not only playable. Like I did with the first version.

Thanks for making a video! It really makes me feel special, I’m not gonna lie. I can see that some work needs to be done on that first level. It’s always good to watch someone else play it, because as the developer, I know exactly what you have to do and where you have to go. I now see that it has to be a little more clear for the player. Again, thanks for making a video and thanks for your feedback!

Question: What would you guys prefer?

Should I put up the new update with the placeholder props / textures (Basically just playable. You can get the objectives done, but almost, if not, none of the current props in the NEW PLAYABLE AREA are the ones that'll actually be there. Ex: T.V. is just a box.), or should I wait untill the textures and other props are replaced with the actual things?

Thanks!

Please leave feedback on the game. I wanna know if people are enjoying it so far. :)
