really beautiful, just like the last one. I came back to Wandering Dreams whenever i needed some inspiration, so finding out there was a 2e was a real delight! Its beautifully put together and the dream realms are so atmospheric and that perfect combination of eerie and dreamlike and terrifying. Really excellent work and well worth picking up.

Two  things I DID notice was that the silent devotion Things table has the swarm of bees from the rotwood dreaming in it’s wild card slot! After that, I noticed every realm after rotwood dreaming  (astral collapse and silent devotion) also requires a mushroom circle for its ritual. I don’t know if that was intentional if they’re connected realms but I thought i would point it out.

this game is absolutely gorgeous, and I’m so excited to be running it for my players soon! I wish there were more greater enemies in the book, but frankly, it’s just given me a chance to make my own! Combat is simple yet evocative, though I think that the book would benefit greatly from an example battlefield, as it took me a while to understand the visual concept of positions.

However, the atmosphere of the game as a whole is fantastic, and gives a great feeling of a soulsborne game.

HA I IMEDIATELY GOT THE BAD END AFTER POSTING THIS 10/10 GAME REPLAYING IT ASAP

ok well I bought this game because the art looked gorgeous, and it is living up to the expectations that imagery gave me in text. I’m terrified of cirrus, which means I desperately want to marry him. Is he waving 42 red flags in my face? Hell yes he is. Do I care? Absolutely not. I’ve never been so stressed playing a game in my life, and I’m still in the early stages and praying I make it to a ‘good’ ending (I doubt this man is good for me in any fashion but if I get to kiss him it’s fine). I love, love, LOVE overwhelming themes of religion and desperation, which his route is clearly offering to me in droves, so safe to say I am utterly enamored. I’ll probably be back in comments to scream about it more in a while, but safe to say I am in shock and awe in the best of ways.
