Incredible work for such a short jam! The art is really great and the VFX, audio and UI are very polished. You guys were really smart and thoughtful with the assets you used to get the most out of the time you had. Gameplay mechanics are enjoyable and it's a great framework to expand upon further. I found the combat a little too challenging, with the enemies being far too aggressive in my opinion, but It's really fun to try and keep playing and get a higher score.

Really impressive work as a jam game, I hope you guys consider working further on it!

Really funny game concept, I laughed pretty hard when I realized what I was doing in the game. I think that the popups were fun to interact with, but I think they would have been more engaging if they were a more direct threat rather than just being an on-screen distraction. Maybe if they slowly drained your health, or if they slowed down the player. Either way, I really enjoyed it. :)

Amazing work on the minimap and the dialogue system! I especially like the visuals. I found the combat controls to be confusing, it was hard to tell if I was damaging the enemies and the firing/reloading was difficult due to the lack of audio-visual feedback. I think an aiming reticle and enemy health bars/hit indicators would help with this. Regardless, awesome work with what you were able to achieve in a short span of time!

The gameplay loop is fun and engaging, I think there is a lot of potential for it to be expanded upon mechanically, and I found the game to be challenging but rewarding.  While I enjoy the grid-based movement, I struggled with the controls quite a bit on keyboard. I also found the audio slightly too loud when I fired at an enemy. Overall though, very fun game!

Good to know!

Seriously creative use of the theme and everything was very well polished. There were a couple of visual hiccups that I saw but the presentation was overall seriously impressive.
