The best way I can explain it is on the Turbines level. If you open the pause menu and leave it open, then drive into the spikes on the left, they don't interact with the player or kill them. It's a pretty specific bug since you mainly have to intentionally do it, and as soon as you rotate the screen again, everything starts working normally.
i hope that explains what happened better lol
Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed the drifting. Forgetting that turning right was illegal seemed to happen to a lot of people at first.
As for a sound, I honestly didn't think about adding a reminder sound because I was really the only person playing the game while developing it. I didn't have anyone to playtest it, and I'd already gotten so used to the mechanic that it never crossed my mind. That's actually really helpful feedback. Thanks again for taking the time to play and leave a comment... it means a lot!
I'm really glad you enjoyed the concept and the driving mechanics. I completely understand what you mean about the levels feeling repetitive. That was something I wanted to improve, but I underestimated how long creating unique assets and layouts would take, especially since this is my first game. Thanks for playing and for the feedback. I really appreciate it!
Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to play the game and share your thoughts. The things you mentioned were actually the areas I expected to be the weakest in. I wanted to add settings, but I couldn't figure them out in time before the deadline. I hope the inability to change the controls didn't affect your experience too much. Thank you again for your thoughts... it means a lot!
Pretty interesting! It was nice, simple, and short. The art style is super unique and really cool. I loved it.
The only issues I ran into were clipping through the ground a few times, and after interacting with something, it would sometimes immediately make me interact with it again without me meaning to.
Other than those small issues, I enjoyed it. Nice job!
I really like the concept and the art style! The game has a lot of charm.
The only thing I struggled with was the combat. I wasn't really sure how it worked. I sat there spamming the space bar, and even when my bar was full and the enemy's was almost empty, I still couldn't seem to land a hit most of the time. I'm not sure if I was missing something, but it made the combat a bit confusing for me.
Other than that, I think it's a really cool idea. Nice job!
Overall, I thought it was pretty good! The gameplay was fun, and I enjoyed it.
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the music. It felt a little loud to me and didn't quite match the vibe I got from the rest of the game, but that's just my personal preference.
Other than that, I had a good time playing. Nice job!
The game is actually so good! I love the little character, and the fact that its eyes follow the inputs. The only thing I'd really change is adding some indication that a level has been completed. I ended up playing the same level about three times before I realized I'd already beaten it lol. I'm not sure if it's a bug or if I was doing something wrong, but the SFX volume didn't seem to change when I turned it down in the settings. It didn't really affect my enjoyment, though. I also noticed that if you open the settings, you couldn't die anymore but I could still keep moving until I changed directions when you can die. Not sure if that's intentional or just a small bug I happened to find. Either or I loved it lol
Overall, I really liked it! Great job!

LETS GOOOOOOO W GAME TBH
