As happy as I am that the game is free for everyone else, will there potentially be a small benefit to those that paid such as cheats or a few extra CGs? Not too pressed about it if not but having extra content for the support would be nice.

take your time, its okay, you're okay, dont let shit get to you, we would all rather a later release date than you burning yourself out and losing motivation, you're more valurable than the game. good luck with future progress.

when the game did run, the models on the main screen only half loaded (the legs) and then when entering the lobby, there was a bar wrapped entirely around where nothing rendered. I would take screenshots to post but at this point the game will not run without crashing.

I have a Steam bug if anyones having issues with SteamVR and not the game. 
If the game opens fine and displays on your screen, but Steam VR doesnt seem to detect or open it in VR, go to your SteamVR settings (not the same as steam settings), there should be an OpenXR tab, and it should say the Client OpenXR Runtime is SteamVR, if it's anything different, then there will be a button to set it back to SteamVR.
Other things might cause this error but this is what fixed it for me.

If you installed the game and have SteamVR running, but it still won't launch, try right clicking the .exe, going to Properties, and on the first tab (General) there should be an option at the bottom to "Unblock" the game. Windows detects you installed it from another place and autoblocks it to prevent dangerous files from spreading, so just click that checkbox to unblock it.

my issue isnt that I failed to capture it, the issue is the bug where it froze after I died

on Sunflower City Streets, I "failed" to use the water on the Willy Wisp and it attacked me, but I ran out of health and the game froze on the finishing frame. I can still press E to cycle the text that displays but the animation has finished and I am out of health and have not been sent to the game over screen.

what happened to the walkthrough that was on the previous itch page? is there an updated version that tells you how to get to each scene yet?
