I think this has been my favorite of the series! I keyed in a bit early on what the point of our presence was, but I think that's just genre savviness at this point ^^

The little 'task accomplished' popups were a great detail, made me feel like there was an intentional 'subliminal' push in-universe towards evoking the good feelings compliance would induce in a good candidate.

As much as the IRL option felt like it fit, and even interested me, I could not help but to become a CAT. May have a little bias towards it, may just feel like being a little robot that makes people feel better and gets pet for it would be just delightful and maybe a bit 'right', even.

Normally this theme tends to not quite work for me, but... the way some of the characters treated 8335 just kept pushing buttons. The rewriting of the character sheet kicked it off suuper well.

8335's regular hints that they kind of enjoy the new body helped get the tone right, I think. Dulls the sort of peril response that the rest might've otherwise given.

With tons of indie games, especially on the adult side, getting quietly abandoned after one or two early demos, I'm plenty happy seeing a "this'll take longer than intended, but the scope increased and also here's all the progress I've been making" update
