It'd be cool to see more of this! There's a lot of really good stuff going on. I like that you tied the ability progression to the distance traveled, as opposed to time or anything, which works really well with the upgrade system. It makes upgrading a basic troop useful for simply traveling more distance, even if you knew they wouldn't be able to actually make it across. On top of that with your own monsters dropping coins, it really well designed.
Using multiple spawn points to adjust for the cool-down so you can double up the same type of troop is a design thing you had in there too that I really liked.

This was a lot of fun! People really have terrible passwords and sticky notes like these its kind of hilarious. Once I was getting into the later game I found myself intentionally trying to avoid looking at too many critical clues and guess on my own. I especially like that there isn't a lockout feature because i find a lot of fun in the just, throwing everything at the wall.
I liked Romero's password too lol. I had a hunch at before I got too far in and it was kinda hilarious to find it validated. That one of the other options is not only not of interest, but wrong was the icing on the cake. Wonderful character work within a really tight section of game play!
