There is another game I like, which will most likely never be finished. It’s sad, but I do understand when a project becomes too much. But let me throw in that you can always ask for help. Sometimes you find people who don’t have much money but do have free time and could help you with the work on your project. I would go insane if I always had to work alone on all my projects.
It’s your decision, and I may be biased because your game got me to start playing D&D, and I really like that there is a plot evolving around the game. So I hope you will return to it at some point and maybe look for people to help you with the work.
But the future of this project is your decision, and I can only accept it as it is.
