I'm having a problem with cutting trees as well. I registered it, but it still wont let me cut down any trees.

Edit: Nevermind. I found the item.
Brute force? Unless I'm missing something, there is no other items, and the only thing you can do with the door is knock on it. I've tried clicking all over the house, but nothing happens.
How do you get the daughter to open the door?
