Really great artwork! It's also a pretty good idea to show the action buttons in-game. I had a lot of fun playing your game!

Funny, there's another game like this in this jam (I can't remember the name of it). I like the idea of collecting gold dust to recover your HP. At first, I thought it was a bug that you could hit connected blobs with one shot, but then I read it was meant for bonus points :D Great work, I had fun playing it!
After the first run, I got 0 points even though I was always on the right spot with the champ. I realized I had to do something more than just be on time in the right lane... You should explain that as well, rather than just telling players to hit W and S :D
But great work, I enjoyed it on my second run!
Thank you so much!
Yes, unfortunately, there just wasn't enough time left for proper balancing tests. Also, because it's my first jam, I got the scope wrong; it takes too long to progress, and including a multi-slot save game system was complete overkill! :D (That would make more sense for a full game, like when two people want to play on the same PC more than just once).
I will definitely take this experience with me into my next jams! :)
Thank you for your feedback!
You are right, at the start it can be frustrating and expensive. However, once you get used to the steering, learn how fast you should go, and place your pings better, you will need fewer repairs. Free power-ups (like free repairs) also spawn around the map. On top of that, you will find larger treasures later on.
My intention was to force players to drive more safely at the beginning to practice their navigation skills. Later in the game, spending 1 gold for a full repair won't hurt anymore, even when you upgrade your max HP.
For the jam, it would have been a better idea to deactivate this mechanic, you are right! I will definitely take this experience with me for future projects :)
Thanks for your feedback! You are right, since it's my first jam, I made the mistake of making the game take too long to progress (the idea was about 60 minutes).
I added the O₂ mechanic to give you a little bit of stress, but you can upgrade the capacity. It's also intentional that you have to return; it's a bit of brain training, like a memory game! ;)
But a minimap is a great idea for a buyable upgrade! As the cave scales up over time, it might lose some of the fun if it gets too big to remember. It would also discourage players from exploring deeper, so a map would definitely help...
