I really liked it a lot! The art style is excellent, the sound effects are on point, and the music is good. The menu is beautiful! Overall, everything is executed wonderfully. The only issue (which might be just on my end) is that aiming gets locked in the direction of the mouse pointer. It would be great if you could implement an accessibility option to switch between mouse-direction aiming and aiming based on the sprite's orientation. But overall, I really enjoyed what I played. I’ll definitely keep an eye on this project—it's very interesting. Wishing you lots of success!

muchísimas gracias por el feedback. Voy a ser totalmente sincero ( no quiero que se tome como excusa ) empecé el desarrollo literalmente 10 días antes del término de la jam. Por cuestiones personales casi no pude dedicarle mucho tiempo. Y los días en los que pude dedicarle tiempo, iba sin dormir al trabajo por quedarme horas sentado haciendo pixelart mejorando las animaciones etc. En cuanto apartado visual traté de dejarlo lo mejor que pude. En cuanto a programación. Notarás que el core del proyecto es muy sólido, puedes configurar totalmente el juego, las teclas la resolución el volumen activar y desactivar vsync y cuando vuelvas a abrir el juego se guardan todas las configuraciones, entre el apartado visual y el núcleo del juego fue lo que más tiempo me llevó y cuando por fin decidí empezar el juego propiamente dicho ya estaba sobre la fecha límite. Siendo un solo dev, hacer el arte, pensar mecánicas, pulir las mecánicas y todo lo que conlleva un juego como un metroidvania, simplemente me exploto la cabeza, me rendí baje los brazos y simplemente ahí lo dejé... obviamente voy a continuarlo. Hay más escenarios a los que no se pueden acceder, por alguna razón en una de las habitaciones con plataformas móviles el juego crasheo y no eh descubierto porque...

I really appreciate you taking the time to finish the game. Unfortunately we did not manage to complete the game, that is why the sprite of the powers ups is not coherent with the rest of the game and there is no type of signage. We are missing many aspects of the game, the configuration, the item and weapon menus, adjusting the pause system, etc... due to time issues we have not been able to continue the game, but of course we want to finish it on both Android and PC (for now)
thanks for commenting, I will take into account all the comments for the next update. about the checkpoints, it seemed to me that when you die your health is restored, but it was the one who did not test. The platform thing was the biggest criticism, after publishing it I realized that that section of the map is frustrating. the music was made by me, with the help of a friend, we tried to give it a cave atmosphere.

As a beginner that I am. I recommend game maker, but the free version is very limited when it comes to exporting your game. Godot is open source and there are no restrictions, but I don't know if it's a good idea for a beginner. the ideal is that you look for information about the engines and choose the one that suits you best
