ty! The inconsistent sizing was originally on accident but I thought it would be funnier to lean into it :)

tbh I added the candle on the last day of the jam so that none of the art would go to waste, but I love ur reasoning and there's honestly not enough evidence to the contrary (there was some evidence that made it more clear that I couldn't put in because markitos gave some of the characters branching/reactionary dialogue but I couldn't figure out how to make it happen😅)
tyy!!
we knew that the collision detection was messed up but the person that wrote it was only free the first 2 days of the jam and no one else could figure out how to fix it lol
Your ending:
You accuse the child of being the murderer; no one believes you, and they decide to make you walk the plank. Then she, proving to be smarter than you, ends up discovering the real killer.
The candle and the font capsule were actually not originally going to be in the game, I just decided to make up dialogue for them on the last day instead of deleting them xD
Lmao
your ending would have been:
Mercury Was in Retrograde, Not Her Morals
You have framed Zodi; that very night, you realize that although she was bad at her job, she was right—and then the killer slits your throat. Everyone else assumes it was suicide, attributing it to the deep guilt you felt over framing an old lady.
I played this for like 15 minutes and I still don't know what's going on. I think I'm trying to run out of cards like in UNO? It's lowkey fun trying to figure it out. (I would keep playing but my computer is about to die :( )
I know that when I press PASS I pick up all the cards from the middle, and that there is +2 and +4 cards.
I too am having the issue of it being hard to select the card u want. I'll click in the same spot repeatedly and it will give me like 4 different cards.
Can I use the platformer game I submitted for the AP computer science principles create task 🙏. I wanted to fix a bug that prevented you from jumping off of 2 of the platforms, and add a player animation, menu, checkpoints, and the ability to upgrade your max jumps. I had to cut them so I could submit it to collegeboard in time.
Ik it mostly but not completely fits the requirements, but I would like to add the other features and I figure u probably want more entries
Seeing other people that don't have experience - and people that do have experience reassuring us - has given me the confidence to want to participate in this game jam.
My experience is scratch and following the unity tutorial for making a racing game. I'm going to follow what I told myself when running my first DND session: do it badly so you can learn.
I hope to see all your finished games on July 20th!! (you too lurkers)

I love that in your shooting game you recorded your own audio for when you kill the ghosts. My main suggestion is to ramp up the difficulty over time (maybe they get faster, or there is more of them, etc).
