intersex is shorter, easier in general to say, and far less offensive. who gives a shit if people dont know what it means. you dont have to explain it to them. just don't be an asshole.

hey, i'm aware that you haven't been active for some time now, but there's an issue with one of the effects. specifically, the w*ndigo effect. 

while i'm sure you weren't aware, that term has been stolen from native american folklore, and its use in pop culture is both incorrect and actively racist. 

i'd suggest, to avoid disrespecting certain native american groups, that you might change the name, potentially to "skulldeer" or a similar term.
