i LOVE the sketchy quality of the art and animations, they're soooo expressive! i appreciated the link between gameplay and tf as well- it's a simple puzzle but one that is skinned effectively to feel like we really are helping ppl transform even when we're actually just doing math hehe.
Seeing a collab is so cool, and you can feel how much fun everyone had with the project! The variation on tone was fun, and very in keeping with a halloweeny theme hehe. I also really liked the art: the jpegified photos were very ummmm homestuckesque is the only word i can think of and the original art used color in a way i really liked and was quite silly and fun!
The art is SOOOO cute and dynamic! Great character designs and great use of stock photos. I love Beth and Lacey's relationship, and the multiple endings!
I was intrigued by the lore... I wondered whether the applicants knew what they were signing up for...The levels' increasing complexity was satisfying to puzzle through and I think it'd be fun to see more levels getting even more complicated :3
The pixel animation for the transformation is sooo cute, and it's detailed despite being so teeny. Love it. This kind of feels like an idle tower defense game to me. I'd love to see more content!
The effect of seeing human for the first time was honestly kinda scary! It felt like a serious consequence for my loss haha, not something you can speed past. I also liked the variety of item-related TFs, and that you and an NPC can be transformed. Really fun concept!
Ahhh this was so fun and cute! There's so much thought put into how it would feel to be a Vaporeon: the vocalizations, learning moves, where it feels good to be pet, how it feels to be in water, the feeling of being caught by a trainer you trust... it was so immersive! I look forward to further content. I also think it would be so fun to play more games/read more stories in this setting. There was one paragraph where the custom pronouns didn't work properly, but otherwise it was really nice to put me and my partners names and pronouns into the game and imagine how it would feel for them to be my Trainer for a day!
