Really cool game concept, the foundational mechanics are super fun. Small nations are super difficult to play, like practically impossible because of the immediate aggression, maybe a diplomacy aspect could help like non-aggression pacts?
I think visually, the map borders could be redesigned in an 8-bit pixel style to maintain continuity with the army characters. Character portraits and custom buffs are really cool. Revolts make me rage when it happens to me but I get its supposed to counter balance larger nations.
Overall awesome game, looking forward to release.
