Wow - what an amazing entry - really took the theme of the topic and made a great game in such a short time. A really enjoyable gameplay loop and a really good time period to set it in. You both did amazing with this one!

Really enjoyed the take on it - as others have comment it felt like a throwback to the og legend of zelda games. I do think it could have been more zoomed out, but overall was a really neat game!

Thank you!! :)

Really cool game! Its nice to see someone with a similar idea of brewing! Really liked the style of game - I did find the UI a bit hard to use though.

Wow - what a fantastic entry - a really solid theme and so well executed!

I really enjoyed this game - I thought they executed the survive like gameplay perfectly and the theme was really charming and fun. Really good job!

SLURRRP - Really great use of the theme - enjoyed the retro feel - the hitboxes felt abit sluggy at times - but once you got the hang of it was a really fun gameplay loop.

Really polished experience, the tutorial at the start was really handy. On top of that the gameplay loop was really fun and the graphics were well done. Such a well polished entry!

Such a good entry. I was really impressed by the whole experience from the gameplay to the graphics down to the audio. Amazing work for such a short period of time - it felt really polished.

My one feedback (and it might of been a design choice) would be to have a slight knockback when attacking enemies.

It was a really fun game - really good take on the theme. I would find a ability to change colour by clicking on the colour to be a nice QOL feature!

I thought it was a really unique presence, but I found it difficult to control and I really think it would benefit from alternate control mapping like arrow keys to move the camera around as well as mouse click.

I did think the art style was really cool, and I loved the old CRT monitor effect, and thought the gameplay was really unique - just needs a easier push as the signs aren't easy to find or read when your struggling to navigate the map (using  a trackpad on laptop).

A really unique game! Great take on the theme and really original!

Very unique take on the theme! Was a really solid gameplay loop and I liked the retro feel!

Really ambitious to try to do a 3d game like this in a short time span - but I think you all did an amazing job. Loved the style - but I think you could of made it clearer what your character is holding and creating.

Thank you! I did have SFX and sound but it seems to only be working on Mac :( one to learn from for the next jam!

Yeah I had intially wanted to add a proper tutorial page with images but time ran out much quicker then I expected. Looking forward to going again next month :)

I updated the resolution of the page by default so hopefully these issues should be fixed for future playtesters.

Just updated the itch listing to change the default resolution and it works better on my machine - just a heads up :)

Hey Goshaman - I have updated the resolution of the game by default and it looks like its working better (tested it on a different pc) - let me know if you can play (didn't change anything in the game itself just the listing of within itch)

Thank you for your feedback! Weird you managed to soft-lock yourself as it should start with a pot and oven at the top of the Brewery. But maybe a bug to look at!

Ah Im sorry mate - I would fix it but I don't want to go against the rules of the competition!

Thank you so much mate, I really appreciate it - I did add music and some basic sound effects, but along with the UI it might not be working on certain devices as I didn't have the time to do testing across OS' and browsers :)

Thank you very much! I really appreciate the comment :) I do plan to keep working on this and growing it!

Really liked the design of the game and how each section had a nice theme.

It didn't but seeing the comment above I think the error is rather rookie from me! One to learn for for my next jam :) Would love to push a patch but unfortunately wont be able too under the rules of the jam

(1 edit)

Thank you I really do appreciate the feedback! I guess this is the perfect example of "It works on my machine", I did have plans to test on more machines but ran out of time.
Your right in scope creep - had a few resources of new game mechanics planned out and partially designed, but life got in the way!
I really appreciate you taking the time to scale your page to actually play it and give me a shot :)

Really enjoyed the gameplay loop and I thought the art style was really amazing! Great entry.

I think it was a really cool take on a retro game. I really enjoyed your art style - especially that main menu!

I did find the gameplay a little hard to understand, but overall this is a really impressive project!

Really cool idea - I thought it was a really cool take on it and I loved your art style.

Lost to a Lemon and wouldn't want to go out anyway else. Really good game and love the throwback design!

Really liked the art style and thought the gameplay was unique!

Well designed and good use of the concept. Really enjoyed the art styles!

Oh thats weird for me - I made it render in 960×540 and it works for me on a macbook pro. Any chance you can send me a screenshot?
