I agree, but as a team we decided it was a good balance with a more slow jump and a faster dash. The reasoning was to make you feel a little bit like its a nightmare. As in you are not fully in control, while the darkness is coming for you :D

Sadly the AI/balancing in general didn't work the way we intended it to.
And yes some bugs and inconsistency made it into the game :/
