Divorced dad simulator, but the dad owns a drone. Very funny game!

The vibe is so on point, every litlte detail made it convincing. I could almost sense the smell of tabaco in the walls😂

Unfortunately I didn't make it past this level despite using all my brainpower :( I guess I'll blame it on the beers. Could you share the sequence of movements to beat the level or a recording ? I'd like to be able to try the next ones.

it's big_sok

First thing I really like the crystal design. Looks reall clean to me, with the animation, glow etc. I also like the overall look of the game, enemies look nice and even tho the turrets are minimalistic I liked their look.

In terms of game design, merging towers if they are close together was satisfying (bigger turret = bigger fun). Not chosing which tower you get  next I liked the idea, makes it more simple for me who isn't really a tower defense player.

And for the sound design I the music and sound effects, especially the keys they felt just right.

Thank you so much for your feedback :D
I'm really glad you enjoyed it (despite its rought aspect) and congrats on your score !

The sound effect with a pitch that goes higher for each input you execute is such a good idea. I'll probably keep working on the game and find many ways to add juice and improve game feel and i'll very probably keep this idea.

I'm planning on doing the GMTK too and I'd really like to not be alone for it (this one was really rough for me near the end). We could have a chat on discord see if we want to do stuff that we both enjoy :D

And about not having to enter the full sequence to kill an enemy sometimes, it's actually a power up that is explained in the onboarding but I'll admit that this is very poorly explained and displayed and I can clearly see why you thought it was a bug.

Thanks a lot for the very detailed feedback! I must admit I agree with about 90% of what you said. I just couldnt find enough time and energy to implement music, sound effects, some way to make each enemy more distinct, a more fluid and immersive onboarding, better transitions between scenes and much more 😅 Overall I just realised about 2 days ago that all I had was the basic prototype and It crushed me cause I realised the game was gonna be very "primitive".

The game look very polished, I liked the aesthetics even though I'm really not into horro games.

The dash and run had a good game feel.

I played in the browser and unfortunately no score or stats displayed at the end and the title screen displayed 0 as my best score even tho I reached more.

At first I was confused that the money icon isn't the same between the money you have and the price of the items in the merchant.

I never managed to serve more than 3 clients and it only happened once, but i'm really bad at shooting games.

The unstable key and ressource management felt fullfilled to me 😊

It was fun! The level design was pretty clever, it must have been difficult to make levels that feel challenging but not too hard. Only few levels but the moving platform and inversed gravity made them feel different.

The game felt fun when I succesfully sent the key where I wanted or when it just blasted on the right block but it felt very difficult to control. The "unstable key" theme was defenetly respected tho xD

Unfortunatly I couldn't get past the second level that had red balls in it.

I really like the CRT effect tho!

Hello!

I am a beginner programmer and game designer looking for one or more people to participate this game jam together. This is my first game jam.

Wether you're an artist, programmer, game designer or anything else, I'd be happy to work with you if you're interested. :)

My skills are very limited but I'm sure we'll find something we can achieve. I only worked on 2D project (on Unity) but I'm also open about learning 3D. I'm also learning a bit about shaders.

Fell free to leave a reply or contact me if you're interested!

I really like this prototype! Being able to work on the whole process, having to pay attention to detail to make better dresses while having room for creativity is amazing ! I hope it will get published !
