The art design and intro music are great. The movement for the soldiers also works pretty well, with the exception that some of them appear to be stuck. I can see that this game was going for something similar to Advance Wars, but it seems like a lot of the mechanics couldn't be implemented before the deadline. This would be a great strategy game if it had a little more time in the oven.

This game has a pretty fun but challenging gameplay loop. I really like the addition of the guide that can be brought up mid-game, it helps a lot when you first start playing. There are some weird issues with how the sprites are layered and some of the shelves lacking collisions, but other than that the game is solid.
The way the spores spread is really cool, this game is pretty addicting to play. The only criticism I have is that the sprites look a bit blurry, I think it's probably because it's using bi-linear filtering for the textures. You may want to use nearest neighbor instead for a more pixel-perfect look. Otherwise the overall look of the game is good.
