Yes spells have effects and separate visuals. But the culprit for the lag also lags these effects causing them to not always trigger.

Nice game concept, UI not always responsive though. Try folding it and then unfolding. The attack icons stay too far to the left making them unreadable

Don't forget to register (only requires a valid email format) and Battle the AI Bosses. They are hard to do in single player

Thank you for your feedback. The only keyboard controls were in earlier just as mobile controls. i guess the AI removed it. Will add it after the gamejam rating period ends.

Nice game concept, controls are a bit hard though and it is not immediatly clear that you can merge th smaller cells for better feed. Maybe an example step where you show the user helps.
