Thank you!! I was scared at first as I'd only done shaders in Blender and didn't realize Unreal was mostly PBR focused, but Gothbard is an Unreal wizard and did em with both a world space shader and post processing for the cel lines. Wouldn't be a game jam without an artist getting saved by a programmer lol

Thanks for playing :)

THANK YOU!!! We ended up really busy during this judging period, so I think our lack of ratings is mostly from us not posting it anywhere or interacting enough tbh :((

Thank you so much for playing :))

Thank you!! We were very proud of the shading as we learned very quickly that Unreal and NPR do not get along very well, unfortunately we didn't give level design the time (or testing) it needed, and while I wish I'd figured it out sooner, I'm so happy to have learned it like this too.

The fire extinguisher thing I had no idea of until reading your post and that is really funny, we also noticed that our first instinct was to chuck the extinguisher away when trying to spray lol.

We did initially make it so that you didn't stick on floors at all, and then set it to the shift keybind as we kept colliding with corners that looked passable, to be honest just designing the level with that and scaling up the door is a much simpler idea and I wish I'd thought of that!!

Thanks again for the post (and apologies it took me so long to reply)!

Thank you so much! Both for playing and for the super detailed post! I admit we spent so much time getting the mechanics and assets in that level design got squished into two days and it's definitely the weak point, though it has made me very excited to go back and make some much tighter puzzles after the judging is over. (Also, sorry it took so long for me to reply!!)

Thank you so much!! We did find spamming to be an unfortunately goated strategy lol, but hey worst case scenario we put a timer on it and claim it was always a speedrun platformer >.<

All of the bugs we found are fixed! Creatures work again and sound is back. Shaders might need to compile the first time you open the game. Hope y'all enjoy!

Bevel here :) This was so fun and I learned so much and MAN am I excited to sleep
