TOXIC YAOI, LMAO

I'm so glad you had fun!! 😂 Here's a few Cyril fun facts, if you're interested: his sun sign is Scorpio, his go-to painting medium is watercolors, and he's very good at games of chance (he's got the devil's own luck, as it were 😉).

Regarding the game's endings, yeah, while I love drama in stories, I prefer them to still have happily-ever-afters, regardless of what flavor said happy ending has. I rather dislike the concept of bad endings on principle, as they imply there are wrong choices you can make, which dissuades the player from roleplaying! Which I find to be kinda lame in the context of a roleplaying game. 😅

Thank you very much, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 🙇‍♀️ A few fun facts about Heron: his sun sign is Aquarius, he sends a good portion of his paycheck to his parents (they worked so hard to send him to school!), and the first thought he had upon seeing the protagonist on day one of the house party was something along the lines of, "Maybe it was worth coming out to the countryside after all."

Thank you so much! I'm glad you had fun with it!

I left a few fun facts about Leigh in the last comment I replied on, so here's a little story instead: back at Hartwood House, when Leigh was younger (~13-14 years old) and barely begun with the most simple of household duties, roughly five years before they became the protagonist's lady's maid/valet, they had a puppy crush on Taylor (who was ~15-16 at the time). This crush lasted until they witnessed Taylor pranking his younger sibling (~10-11 at the time) and making them cry. Leigh has long since privately forgiven Taylor for this, but it had immediately quenched any daydreams they had of him. 😂

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! A few fun facts about Leigh: they're twenty-nine years old (three years older than the protagonist), their sun sign is Taurus, and they enjoy doing embroidery on their days off (hence why they're so good at mending clothes!). Post-ending one, a certain competitive servant gets very invested in getting better than Leigh at embroidery, though Leigh remains oblivious to the one-sided rivalry. 😂

There's actually a funny story regarding Cyril's orientation. When he was still just a side character, before I made him a love interest, I'd decided he was gay. So when I decided to turn him into a love interest, I briefly had a crisis over whether or not to make him bisexual (for broader appeal), or let him stay gay as intended. I nearly caved and had gotten through writing most of chapter one of his route writing him as bisexual until my dear editor said he should stay gay because it suited him better in general. And I'm glad we went with that, because as you said, the nuance hits better. 🙂‍↕️

But as for the rest of your comment, generally speaking, I consider the player character's gender to be as much of a choice that effects the story as any other choice, especially in a setting based on the real world. I wanted to put in the effort to make sure that the consequences of all of the player's choices are noticeable and present, and that included the protagonist's gender! So it's very gratifying to hear that it all hit in a satisfying way! 😭 Thank you so much! 💕

Cyril's route is unlocked by playing Lord Ashbrook, being bold on day 4, and hiding inside of the manor afterwards! If you need any help from there, there's a walkthrough you can download ☺️

I'm so glad to hear you're having fun! 😊💕

Thank you so much, Aru! The backgrounds are quite lovely, too, aren't they? Hehehe ☺️💕 (You did great work!!)

💕💕💕

Thank you very much! Glad to hear you enjoyed it! ☺️

Oh my goodness, thank you for letting me know! I just figured out why that happened, and I'll be posting a bugfix soon. 🫡

Edit: Posted!

I'm glad you like them and that you enjoyed the game! 😊

There is no formal walkthrough, but a direct straightaway to the other ending is picking at least 3/5 of the following: letting them stay all night, letting them stay with rules, protecting them from being hassled, telling them the maze is boring, and calling out to them inside the maze. Things that indulge Hadri's behavior/reliance on you.

When we release the polished up version of the game (including fixing up certain behind the scenes stuff behind choices because it's a little messy, my bad), I'll look into making a proper walkthrough for it! 👌

I've been wondering the same thing! 🤔

Hello, I'm hoping to join a group for But They Fuck Jam as a writer, preferably for a visual novel. ☺️ You can find my writing samples here. Three out of four samples are in prose format, but I have a sample of ADV VN format writing in there as well. I also wrote for Shoujosei Jam recently. My submission to it can be found here. It's relatively short, and is not an 18+ game, but I hope it gives an idea of my writing style.

Most of my samples are from fanfiction (for things like DAtV and Pathfinder: WotR), mostly because I enjoy writing about other people’s characters over characters I make myself. I’m hoping to do something similar in the course of But They Fuck Jam! I've done a lot of writing for one of the main characters in another 18+ project, and have received quite a lot of approval from the lead on my work. (Apologies for the vagueness on that one, but I'd like to keep my anonymity working on the project.)

Feel free to reply here if you're interested. ☺️ I'll reply when I can.

Hello! I'm hoping to join a group for Ossan Jam, and I'm game for writing and/or editing. ☺️ (Including for mature/NSFW stories!)

You can find my writing samples here. Three out of four samples are in prose format, but I have a sample of ADV format writing in there as well. Most of these are from fanfiction (for things like DAtV (featuring a wonderful old man) and Pathfinder: WotR), mostly because I enjoy writing about other people’s characters over characters I make myself. I’m hoping to do something similar in the course of Ossan Jam! I've done a lot of writing for one of the main characters (an old man as well) in another project, and have received quite a lot of approval from the lead on my work.

Feel free to reply here or in the host's Discord server if you're in search for a writer, and I'll reply when I can!
