Thanks so much Willow :) it was an absolute pleasure to chat to you on the show!

Thank you so much for these thoughtful comments :) you’ve really nailed every point I aimed for with this entire thing! I really do hope I one day hear these stories incorporated into someone’s game :)

This is brilliant! Well written and interesting throughout. Love the cosmic horror angle :)

Okay the theme to this is just great! Nicely written and gets that Mario story down to a T :)

Thank you so much Beth & Angel :) I really do hope to see someone use these hooks in their games some day!

Thanks so much for this - very much validates the thinking I had writing this. Wanted ppl to be able to fit it into their existing worlds and stories and for it to be able to become part of the game, without taking it over :)

Can’t see anything - can you check the spelling? bennewbon

Oh that sounds delightful! Absolutely :) pop me an email to [my fullname] at gmail and I’ll get one over to you.

Hi! I’m really happy to hear you’re excited for my game :) if you DM me on Twitter (@bennewbon) or pop me an email [my full name] @gmail.com, I’ll be more than happy to gift you a copy :)

Ben

This is a lovely game that hits some wonderfully sweet spots. The ideas it conjures up just from reading the role options and example towns lend so well to so many stories told in cheesy festive films.

We made a lovely Christmas story about a city big shot finding his heart, a struggling small business owner finding his inspiration and a meddling journalist finding his literal Christmas Spirit!

Thanks for this :) it’s rare to get proper feedback, so really appreciate that. Layout is certainly something I struggled with but hopefully this is a little bit helped by the rules reference included with the character sheet. Next project I hope to be able to afford a proper layout person!

This looks so great! Very well put together Itch page too!

Any number could work but I’d suggest at least 2 + the game runner. The rules for enemy creation scale to the number of players, so having more shouldn’t have an impact on balancing.

Carl is the real secret weapon!

Thanks so much for this. An absolutely wonderful review and so lovely to hear your kiddo had so much fun with it :)

This is so cute and simple I love it. Totally gives me seal inspirations for my game ;)

Oh that is weird but thanks :) I hope you like it.
