I adore this visual novel. I think it's a beautiful story combined with n absolutely gorgeous artstyle, forming a one-two punch that leads into the wonderful storytelling. Now, I'm an absolute sucker for clowns and dolls, so this game really stuck out to me when I saw it in the VN section. I just finished one of the endings about 15 minutes ago, so I want to give my fresh thoughts on it.

Like I mentioned before, the artstyle of this game is a knockout, yall nailed the toy look, not to mention the fashion design for both Huxley and Dahlia is mwah mwah, fantastic. You nailed the dialogue for Huxley, witty and charming, his jokes are funny in a way that inspires how I want to be a clown. Dahlia is trifling at times, but in a way that you can understand why and what led to these emotions. Her motivations are clear and well-written. I feel like there's a lot of history in Dahlia, and I hope to see more of it explored as I finish the rest of the endings. I can almost see Huxley's history written on his character, and it's phenomenal. You really crafted characters like an artisan toymaker. There was a lot of very well written dialogue throughout the story, especially in some of the monologues, and some of the scenes with Dahlia almost made me cry. It's a good thing I didn't play this game when I was younger, because with this and Toy Story, I think I would have been too scared to own any toys.

All in all, you nailed the dollhouse aesthetic perfectly, with great writing, great art, and lovely characters. I hope to see much more from you real soon!

I'm sure I will, after all, you're behind the helm.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but maybe honey select? I remember seeing a shirt for the devs on one of the monday splash screens

I'm so glad to hear my comment brought joy to you, I can't wait for more projects by you! Keep kicking ass!

So I played this game over the summer, and have been meaning to write a review on it ever since I finished it, because this game is a SHOWSTOPPER! For the low, low, price of free, free, FREE, this game delivers and doesn't stop giving.

A likeable protagonist who is adventurous enough to feel like a hero, but also have that VN protag horniness written into his DNA.

I cannot stress enough how much I loved the main character in this game, he's the perfect combo of goofy and capable and it fits in so well with the atmosphere of this game.

Speaking of the atmosphere, I didn't really know what to expect going in this game, but I love it. I started off thinking the main focus of this game was going to be figuring out how to get our damn grades up, and maybe get some play along the way, but man once the story starts rolling, grab the popcorn, put it on auto mode, cause it's a whole FILM.

Now, I decided to go for the "I don't want to fuck my stepsisters or my mom" run cause I'm personally not into that, and I was worried that by doing that, I wouldn't get as much as I hoped from this game. Was I wrong in the best way. Even if you don't decide to sex them up, your stepsisters are greatly written, they bounce off each other and the main character very well, the banter was some of my favorite parts of the game. It contributed so much to the game's humor.  Speaking of the humor, GOD this game is fucking funny. I have around 130-150 screenshots of just funny ass moments from this game. The only other VN I remember playing that was this funny was Majikoi. The characters are the lifeblood of this game, and they are full of personality and charm. The hairdresser, the crime boss in the purple suit, ASMO-FUCKIN-DEUS these characters had me in stitches and really added to the staying power of this game. Another thing to note, even if you're not into the whole sterpsister/mom thing, there are plenty of baddies in this game to enjoy. Definately one of the best parts of this game.  Character design in general is on fucking point. Also, big shoutout to the fashion choices, I have a whole folder of screenshots of just hard fits from this game.

Speaking of game, your choices feel like they have genuine impact in the story, when I fucked up, it felt like I fucked up and IT MATTERED. I gotta give Caribdis props for how you did the card guessing game. Easily one of the best moments of the game.

Overall, if I had to pick an itch.io VN to adapt into a film, I'd have to choose this one. Story is greatly written, and like others have said in the comments section, and I think this is the most important part of almost any medium. IT doesn't take itself too seriously, it's not worried about how it's going to appeal to a viewer cause it knows it's baller as fuck already.  My only complaints are that I wish the catmask girl from the town got a sex scene. Or maybe I just haven't found it yet. And that the stepsister's waists are a bit thin, but that's such a nitpick it doesn't even matter.  Seriously though, I'm going to play Eternum RIGHT NOW, I hope to see a whole lot more from you. Making this name-your-own price is easily the most significant philanthropic act in the last 200 years, to quote one of the game's choices:

"This is fucking priceless"

Customer Satisfaction Survey has been: Completed!

I downloaded this game on a whim and wow, I was not expecting such a polished visual novel! Arguably one of the best ones I've ever downloaded off of itch.io! Now, I like to go into games like this blind, and I thought this was going to be a fun little game where you tell your GF you have a clown fetish or something like that. I was wrong, but it didn't matter in the end because I was entranced by the story. The first twist had me amazed and laughing. Completely unexpected, and super fun.

The writing in this game is fantastic. Over all the endings, I kept getting hit with slow realizations of what's going on as you always revealed just the right amount of details to keep us intrigued. Absolutely top-notch writing.

Your world seems simple on the surface, but all these characters felt alive. Very real, very emotive, and very, very, likeable.

I was expecting more choices in this game, but I didn't mind it. It felt like I was much more immersed in the game when I didn't have to worry about making the wrong choice or loading back and trying to make the right choice.

I am getting very sleepy writing this review, but I just wanted to add a few last points. I love the artstyle, love the fact yu can pick your pronuns, and I think Lion is fine as fuck is he gonna get his own game or ??????

I look forward to playing more of your games and to see more from you in the future, cause your writing skills alone stand up to VNs from huge studios. Like, I'm putting this up there with Majikoi for VNs that had an impact on my life.

I'm surprisingly obsessed with this game, I spent some time playing the prototype last night, and found myself having a lot of fun with it!

Here's some things I really like about this game:

1. Super Fun concept, I haven't seen that many tower defense games where the player can defend it themselves, the only ones that come to mind are Orcs must Die! and the Sanctum series,  this style of gameplay really keeps the player invested, while normal tower defense games can become a bit boring once you're optimized.

2. I love the fact almost every object in the mall map can be used as a barricade. I was really impressed with this feature, it adds a layer of immersion to the game by seeing what you can do with shopping carts, clothing racks, benches, gym equipment, the list goes on! Seriously, this feature is a kickass addition.

3. The character movement is SLLLLLIIIICKKKK I love the dude's animation, and the fact he can climb over stuff is pretty impressive, even while he's carrying something. Good shit. Additionally, I love the fact you just throw the tower gals over your shoulder to move them.

4.  The in between waves music is great, did you make it yourself?

Here's some features and issues I've found that I think, if addressed would take this game to the next level. (please let me know if these features are already in the purchasable version:

1. Ability to move placed props, I've been running a "Rule of 5" challenge with the game to try and make it harder, (5 units, 5 barricades, 5 ammo, 5 medkits), and not being able to move barricades is kinda annoying.

2. Sometimes I will get stuck using the rifle, I wanna use the pistol sometimes, man looks baller as fuck shooting with one hand.

3.  Interacting with buttons/crates is very finicky, and you have to be standing in a very specific place to buy a unit in the portal room or pick up a crate (Well, you can move a crate using the left mouse key, but I like the animation of picking it up.)

4. What's with the "grab" prompt when close to an enemy? It doesn't seem to work, and I think a melee kill animation( if an enemy is at low enough health) instead would be a cool feature to add.

5. Hidden equipment in the stores of the malls boosts the stats of your towers, and/or is a hub for buying traps/weapons, as I found myself flush with cash after about 3 rounds.

6. Predicted Path of the enemies can shift randomly, not sure what causes this, but it can really mess up a tower/barricade setup, especially if you're unable to move barricades.

7. Obelisk, and enemy health bars.

8. More variety in girl design?

That's all I can really think of right now, I would LOVE to see this game grow into a pioneer in the porn tower defense genre, especially since it's something different than your average visual novel. I love a good visual novel, but we need more porn game variety; we got our side scrollers, we got our visual novels,  we got our RPGs, WE NEED DIFFERENT GENRES!!!!! That's why I love this game so much and want it to grow, to show that a porn game doesn't have to be a visual novel to make it, and also to have something different to whack it to. Best of luck yall.
