I could have sworn I tinkered with something like that. I bought the game about three years ago and I thought there was an option for this. I seem other games of this nature have these portraits update in real time to show the equipment and status effects. But anyway thanks for replying.

I haven't played newer versions that much, but I remember older versions allowing to keep the character display while you play. is that still around? I wish to be able to toggle it on.

The game is fun. Having said that isn't there any possibilities to add an  uncensored patch for the western world?
