I was wondering this for "Not a Puppet" as well! So just take Lift for the next roll, or can you choose where to spend it (like Inspiration in D&D)?

Also I wanted to ask a couple of things:

1) there are no "Miss" outcomes (rolling 6-) for Strike With Intent/Strike To Subdue. I assume it would be that the attack is unsuccessful, but would this also open up the GM to make a hard move for example?

2) Can you clarify the difference between Deep Dive vs Have a Chat wrt interacting with another PC/NPC? Is Deep Dive like trying to get insight about someone's motivations and feelings but without conversing with them? And if you Miss it says "the answers all suck" - does this mean they are untrue (the character gets the wrong idea) or just unhelpful?

There were some other questions as well that I had regarding some wording for abilities etc... is it okay to ask about that here or can I email you about them? Thanks!!

Final girl hell yeah this book looks fun! 

But I must ask: for the Ability "You're Next" it says "You can Strike to Subdue using Dark instead of Mastery."
Do you mean using Mastery instead of Light?
