I suppose that will make the difficulty scale a bit harder than the current ones, but WILL remove a good amount of 'no new gameplay elements just get harder' levels in between.
Don't know if you have changed it yet but personaly introducing something new every 2 levels would feel like a sweet spot. 1 level to introduce it and one to used to it before something new is thrown in.
Anyway will wait to see how it is changed.

Bought the game, but for some reason I can't get download the latest update on itch app,  it only allows me to download the demo

It has been the same for a really long time, even before nightclub released.
Misty is not active until day 2
Ari becomes active on day 4
Maddie becomes active day 5
I do admit that you get nothing new until Bloodmoon Ari on night 12 so the girls are introduced within the first 5 nights then you get 7 nights of the girls just getting harder until the boss fight.

To be fair guns are weapons, they are meant to harm.

First is this will appear when  you visit the game page. It will be at the top

Second is go to https://itch.io/my-purchases and download from there.

If neither do show up then something is wrong, can't speak for France but I was able to buy it no problem from Spain

So I use the itch launcher and it won't work with external links.
