We were very confused. I think we spent about 20 minutes trying to understand the rules. It wasn’t clear who was the guardian and who was the alien. We also learned later that we had the unfortunate odds of a 0.5% that nobody has a card of the starting suit with the first initial hand of 4 given. Even then, it was unclear what we were supposed to do. Sorry we couldn’t get to play it because of the lack of understanding, but I did like the idea of having one person helping the civilians, and one person you all have to work together to beat.

The rules were simple, but it was sometimes hard to know if the game was supposed to be over or not when I ran out of cards, but still lost the round. This was a fun game, I enjoyed the balance of trying to win the current round, but also use a color that sets you up to win the following round.

I felt that the rules were very unclear. After my group spent a few minutes making some clarifications for when we played, it was very fun. We had to be clear that cards added together act as if they are that face card, so 10+4=joker and activates its effect for example. We also had to be clear that you cannot add to anything above 14, so you can’t put down a combo that would be larger than 14. We also had to infer a lot based on the rules of uno. We made quite a few assumptions while playing because it wasn’t very clear, but the name said it was modified uno. While the rules were unclear, this game was a lot of fun once we figured it out. It did take a while to finish, but I enjoyed this game very much!

This was a fun game. I liked being able to either get yourself a better card, or take cards from others. I do feel like a lot of the win condition came down to the final turn where everybody draws their final card. Overall, the game was a lot of fun!
